Starting Wage: $14.50/hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Day & Evening Shifts (7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Job Summary
Countryside Senior Living is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Kitchen Assistant to help provide an enjoyable dining experience for our residents. This position supports meal service by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining a clean dining room and kitchen, and following all food safety and sanitation standards.
Much of the work is completed independently, but you'll also be part of a supportive dietary team that works together to provide excellent service to our residents every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the cook with meal preparation for more than 80 residents under the direction of the Kitchen Manager or Cook
• Set up dining rooms and tables to create a clean, welcoming dining environment
• Serve meals and deliver trays to residents as needed
• Clear tables and remove dishes promptly following meals
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, equipment, and dining areas
• Dispose of trash and food waste according to facility procedures
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment
• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
• No previous experience required—we're happy to train the right person!

• Starting wage of $14.50 per hour
