Mitchell Chamber Ag Committee to Host 2026 Ag Connections: Farm to Table Event at Oak Lane Colony

MITCHELL, S.D. — The Mitchell Chamber Ag Committee invites community members to attend the 2026 Ag Connections: Farm to Table event on Tuesday, June 23, at Oak Lane Colony for an evening focused on agriculture, education, and community connection.

Participants will depart from the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m. and travel together to Oak Lane Colony, where guests will enjoy a guided tour of the facilities, opportunities to ask questions and learn more about agriculture, a wine tasting experience, a BBQ rib dinner, and dessert provided by Farm Life Creamery.

The event is designed to help bridge the gap between the city and the farm by giving attendees a firsthand look at local agricultural operations while creating opportunities for meaningful conversations about the industry and its impact on the region.

Tickets are $20 per person and include transportation to and from the colony. Space is limited, and those interested are encouraged to register by Friday, June 19. Registration is available online at MitchellSD.com/Events.

Items will also be available for purchase during the event, and attendees are encouraged to bring cash if they wish to shop.

The Mitchell Chamber Ag Committee extends its appreciation to event sponsors Central Electric, First Dakota National Bank, and Farm Credit Services for supporting this educational community event.
