The City of Mitchell is seeking a full-time police officer. The police officer position is responsible for the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws and the protection of life and property.Starting wage $30.525 per hour for new officers, higher wage for currently certified applicants. Police officers receive annual wage increases on January 1st - as approved by the City Council. Officers are also awarded Step Increases each year on the anniversary date of their hire, based on acceptable
