BRAZING AND TUBE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR

Provide first-line support to Enertech Global brazing and tube department employees. Oversee and manage front-line employees and ensure efficiency, compliance with safety, quality, and Quality Management System.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manages and mentors assigned production employees, including new hires.
    Training, questions, working side by side next to team members

· Ensures employees are trained in all job duties, procedures, and policies.

· Oversee production operations, daily workflow, and assignments of the production shift.

· Maintains adequate knowledge of products and equipment to ensure the ability to direct employees to perform the job properly.

· Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment. Notifies manager and maintenance of equipment problems.

· Troubleshoots and addresses any issues/delays/problems that arise.

· Continually improving All ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)

· Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.

· Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.

· Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive environment.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS/ABILITIES:

· Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to motivate, train and coach employees to encourage optimum performance and engagement.

2.0 WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Frequently standing and walking through the factory/warehouse

· Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch

· Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently and handle up to 55 lbs. infrequently

3.0 COMPETENCIES – To perform this job successfully, the employee will demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of the position.

· Aware and support All ISO Management Systems (Quality, Safety, Environmental)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.

· Knowledge of Epicor Kinetic ERP a plus

· High school diploma, associate degree a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
