Independent On-Call Nurse

If you are a nurse who likes flexibility and can work 6 or more days a month, this might be the position for you! The more shifts you pick up, the larger your monthly incentive pay is.
On call nurses complete assessments after hours, holidays, and on weekends in the event of an emergency safety intervention (restraint, seclusion, locked seclusion) at Abbott House. This assessment must be started within 1 hour of the start of the ESI and will document the child’s response to the emergency safety intervention.
The on-call nurse must be a Licensed South Dakota Registered Nurse or LPN with a valid driver’s license and should have experience working with children and youth.
The hours for on call are: Weekdays (4pm – 1am) Weekends and designated holidays (8am – 1am)
