Job Summary
A certified nursing assistant (CNA) works under the direction of an RN to maintain comfort and well-being of the patient. CNAs are essential in nearly every health care setting, including hospital, home health care and long-term care facilities. Some responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, weight, height and intake and output as directed.
