Meat Wrapper Job Description - Part Time
A Meat Wrapper is responsible for packaging, labeling, and displaying meat products while maintaining quality, accuracy, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging & Labeling:
Wrap, label, and price meat products accurately for retail sale.
Product Presentation:
Stock and organize displays to ensure products are fresh, attractive, and properly rotated.
Weighing & Portioning:
Assist with weighing and portioning meat products while minimizing waste.
Safety & Sanitation:
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
Customer Service:
Assist customers with product inquiries and provide basic information as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; food handling certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Knowledge of meat cuts and proper handling techniques
Good communication and customer service skills
