Part-Time Transit Operator - Evenings and Weekends
The City of Mitchell is accepting applications for part-time bus operators working 15-20 hours per week for the Palace Transit Service. Applicants must be 21 or older. Starting wage is $22.036 per hour (2024). Wastewater Operator
This position is responsible for participating in the operations and maintenance of the wastewater system. Wastewater Operator Certification (Level I, II, or III) is preferred, but applications will also be accepted for non-certified workers who have the ability to become state- certified when eligible. Duties include the collection of wastewater samples and conduct laboratory analysis. Service, maintain, and repair storm sewers. Inspects and maintains sewer lift stations, manholes, and catch basins.
