Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry

 Step into country music history while supporting local history! 
Join us for a Fundraiser Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry on SATURDAY, January 10 at 2:00 PM, hosted by the Area Community Theater at the Pepsi-Cola Theater for the Performing Arts. 

Get ready for an afternoon filled with classic country favorites—from the soulful storytelling of Willie Nelson, to the outlaw grit of Waylon Jennings, to the timeless legends like Johnny Cash, and more.  Experience the songs that defined generations and shaped the heart of American music.

We are proud to feature  Nolan Clark, bringing his rich musical roots and local connections to the stage. Family like, Ellie Michaels of Night Raiders, Vance Tuffs and Tom Sommerville; making his performance a tribute not only to country greats, but to a family deeply woven into Mitchell’s musical heritage. 

All proceeds benefit the Mitchell Area Historical Society, supporting facility upgrades at the historic Carnegie Library, including the installation of a much-needed kitchenette to better serve visitors, volunteers, and community programs.
