Read for the Record

It's time to Read for the Record! On Thursday, Oct. 29, the Mitchell Public Library will join children from around the world as with 3 readings of "Evelyn Del Rey is Moving Away" on Facebook Live at 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 3:45pm. At each reading, we will present the book in English and Spanish. Following each reading, we invite you to write a comment about the book on the Mitchell Public Library Facebook Page. Names of those who comment will be placed in a drawing to receive a free copy of the book. The odds are good... We have 15 books to give away! Jumpstart’s Read for the Record brings together millions of adults and children around the world each year to read the same book on the same day in order to raise awareness about the critical importance of early literacy and access to high-quality books.
