This support group is for people affected by Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. Please feel free to share this invitation with others. Craig Bennett, County Veteran Service Officer, will speak about veteran benefits in general and how Parkinson’s is now a new presumptive condition and what that means. Refreshments will be served. To get to the Community Room, come through the main hospital entrance. To comply with federal guidelines as they move about patient-facing areas of the hospital, attendees and Avera staff must wear a mask. If attendees are fully vaccinated, they may remove their masks once seated in the Community Room. However, unvaccinated individuals must continue masking. If you have questions, please contact Lisa Walton or Laurie Young at (605) 995-5715.
