It’s the 1960’s and young Beverly gets her first pair of high heels for confirmation; Pastor announces his impending nuptials; Mrs. Snustad and Mrs. Gilmerson plan a food booth at the County Fair; and Mrs. Engelson embarks on a spontaneous driving lesson. Through it all, these “bulwarks never failing,” stand strong in their faith and friendships.
