Dakota Wesleyan theatre will bring a post-apocalyptic take on William Shakespeare's brilliant tragedy, ''Macbeth,'' with all its prophecies and gore to the stage this month with new show dates. Production dates will be at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 27-29, and 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the Patten-Wing Theatre in Hughes Science Hall. This production is also available for high school matinees on Oct. 27-28. If interested, contact Miller at 995-2710. ''Tempted by the prophecies of three mysterious witches, Macbeth's ambition to be king leads him into a nightmarish world of evil, deceit and murder,'' said Dan Miller, DWU theatre director. ''Monstrous actions run rampant as he and Lady Macbeth lose themselves to unstoppable drives of savagery and political atrocity. Set in a futuristic apocalyptic world, this classic tale of power, killing, ghosts and madness promises to be like nothing audiences have ever seen on the Patten-Wing Theatre stage.'' Admission is $5 for each production. DWU students, staff and faculty, as well as Mitchell Area Community Theatre members, receive free admission.
