The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at Dakota Wesleyan University will be coming together for an outdoor concert of vocal and instrumental music on Sunday, Apr. 25, at 4 p.m. on DWU’s Jackson Plaza outside of the McGovern Library on the campus.
The afternoon’s concert will feature performances by the Dakota Wesleyan Choir, the Highlanders, the Wesleyan Band and the Wesleyan Bells. The event will also be livestreamed on the DWU Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dwublue. The concert is free to all.
The Choirs and the Highlanders will be directed by Dr. Clinton Desmond. The Wesleyan Band will be directed by Dr. Bethany Amundson and the Wesleyan Bells will be directed by Erin Desmond.
The concert’s rain date is Sunday, May 2.
