BB Gun Basics
South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures and the Game Fish and Parks Outdoor Campus bring you BB Gun Basics for kids ages 8 and up!
Participants will learn firearm safety and proper shooting techniques. They will then get a chance to shoot multiple targets from multiple positions with a bb gun. All safety equipment will be provided.
South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures, James River Chapter, is part of Big Friend Little Friend's mentoring programming. We match experienced hunters and outdoors people with youngsters who are interested in exploring the great natural resources of South Dakota. 1.7 miles west of Mitchell on Old Highway 16 (254th Street). Look for Mitchell Trap Club sign. Turn north on gravel road. Drive through gate and turn east to see the clubhouse.
In case of inclement weather, event will be held at Davison County Shooting Club (indoor shooting range), 3260 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD
