DESCRIPTION:Space Pirates!   A New Children's Musical      \n\nMitchell Area Community Theater welcomes aspiring youth performers to learn\, grow\, and shine on stage in this exciting\, fast-paced theatrical experience!\n\nSpace Pirates! is designed with suitable parts for every age\, skill\, and experience level\, making it the perfect opportunity for students in grades K 12 to explore theater in a fun\, supportive environment. \n\n  Performances\n\n   Friday\, March 20\n\n   Saturday\, March 21\n\nAuditions allow directors to see all students and determine where they best fit in the process everyone has a role to play! In addition to on-stage roles\, older students are invited to assist backstage\, learning sound and lighting while gaining hands-on theater experience.\n\n     About the Program\n\nThis week-long residency brings professional Actor/Directors to Mitchell to work with 20 55 students\, creating a fully staged musical complete with costumes\, sets\, lights\, and sound\, performed by the participants at the end of the week.\n\nThe program is led by Theatre 605 Tours\, which has provided exceptional theater education to communities across the region for over 25 years. We are dedicated to fostering creativity\, confidence\, and imagination in a safe\, inspiring environment guided by professional artists from across the country who meet the highest artistic and safety standards.\n\n  Synopsis\n\nJoin Casey on an unforgettable journey from a quiet museum tour to the chaotic world of alien spaceships and space pirates! When pirates attack the Zooglebotz spaceship\, Casey and friends hatch a clever plan inspired by the Trojan Horse to save their alien allies.
