SUMMARY:J. Laiten Weed Honors Orchestra Concert
DESCRIPTION:The orchestra is comprised of twenty-two high-school string students who achieved the highest audition scores for the South Dakota All-State Orchestra. They begin preparing music individually in December and begin rehearsing as a group on the Thursday evening before the concert. An intense two days of rehearsal with an exceptional guest clinician follows. All of this culminates in a performance that invariably proves to be polished\, refined and exhilarating.
