The very next day treatment began. From chemo to lumbar punctures\, finger pokes to steroids and antibiotics\, she has done very well through it all. Unfortunately\, it was recently discovered that Helayna has cancer cells in her spinal fluid again and will need CAR T-cell therapy later this month in Denver.\n\n\n\nThe Lake House has parterned with many local businesses to try and create a Christmas dream come true for this young girl and her family. Join us on Dec. 19 for a benefit from 6-8 p.m. (with masks and social distancing). We'll have Christmas Carols by Billy Lurken and a hot cocoa bar and all proceeds will go directly to the family.
