DESCRIPTION:For hundreds of years Santa has sent elves to check in on kids to see if they have been naughty or nice.  Now he has decided to send scouts into businesses to check out their holiday merchandise.\n\n \n\nYou have seen hundreds of kids get visits from scout elves\, now the Chamber has been sent a scout and will be visiting some of our member's shelves!  Our scout will arrive Thanksgiving Day and we named him Poppy\, the Corn Cob Scout!  You never know where he might pop up\, so you'll have to keep a lookout.\n\n \n\nEvery few days Poppy will make his appearance on Twitter\, Instagram and Facebook.  Decipher what business Poppy is in and go to their store and take a look!  Once you find him\, in the daily drawing you can enter your name and a $25 gift certificate to that business may be yours to claim.\n\n \n\nThen away Poppy will go\, off to see Saint Nick\, to report good news and return right quick.  Every few days he will visit a business in town and will give you a chance to hunt him down.\n\n \n\nEveryone who enters in each of the daily drawings will still have a chance to win the Grand Prize\, on December 22nd we'll give $250 Mitchell Money for someone to find some last minute Christmas buys.\n\n \n\nRemember\, anyone can join in on the fun.  Just watch the Chamber's social media and you'll know exactly where to run.  Santa will be happy everyone is shopping local so business owners all around town this holiday season will be thankful.\n\n \n\nThen just before Christmas\, to Santa\, Poppy will return.  An 11 month vacation with Santa he has earned!
