DESCRIPTION:A women/girl's only 5K Run/Walk\n\nNon-competitive running event\n\nAll runners welcome regardless of age\, experience or ability\n\n \nbe {You} tiful STRIDES RUNNING CLUB is a club for girls in 3rd through 6th grade in Ethan. The club focuses on helping to build healthy habits\, individual strengths and talents\, encouragement and character.\n\nMeetings are twice a week to run/walk for 30 minutes (training for a 5K) and discuss a weekly bible verse with devotion.\n\n\n\nOn October 14th\, the running club will sponsor a noncompetitive 5K Sparkle run in which the girls will also participate as an end to their season. We have a 5K women/girls' only event as a way to motivate others. Our hope is to have moms\, daughters\, grandmothers\, sisters\, aunts and best friends running or walking side by side supporting one another. We would love to see dads/men come with signs to cheer on those running or walking. Prizes will be awarded for most "sparkled"\, best encouraging sign& most encouraging person. We will have a friendly competition for most encouraging group water station again this year too!\n\n\n\nAll proceeds will be given to the family of Haley Vogel for medical expenses. https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/haleyvogel\n\n\n\nRegistration for the event will start at 9:30\, however if you want to ensure a shirt please preregister by September 30th.
