SUMMARY:Air Venture Cup Cross Country Race
DESCRIPTION:The EAA AirVenture Cup Race provides pilots and aircraft builders the opportunity to race their aircraft in a safe and fun environment\, all while promoting aviation in and over the communities where the races are held. The first race in 1998 started in Kitty Hawk\, NC\, with 10 aircraft and has grown to the major aviation event it is today\, drawing thousands of spectators.\n\n\n\nSaturday July 21st\n\nAirVenture Cup Airport Open House from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.\n\nCome see the race planes and talk with race pilots.\n\n\n\nFree Young Eagles rides will be available to kids ages 8-17 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Rides are limitied and are on a first come first serve basis.A Parent/Guardian must be present to give permission and sign the required waiver.\n\n\n\nSunday July 22\n\nCome and see over 70 airplanes depart to join the race course to Oshkosk\, WI.\n\n\n\nAll events are weather permitting and are subject to change without notice.
