DESCRIPTION:Mitchell Main Street & Beyond\, an organization that works to promote and preserve Mitchell's downtown district announced Wednesday their plan to move Mitchell's hit summertime event to Friday evenings for the summer of 2018. With the move\, the name will be changed to "1st Fridays on Main"\, beginning on May 4th.  \n\n \n\nThe event plans to remain on Main Street between 5th and 7th Ave while utilizing the newly constructed Corn Palace Plaza in downtown Mitchell. 1st Fridays will be held on the first Friday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. May through September.
